And not just one, but six!<\/p>\n<p>Dory \u2013 properly known as a blue tang \u2013 is a species belonging to the surgeonfish and it\u2019s rather rare to see them in the Maldives. That\u2019s why we\u2019re so excited to have spotted six individuals at once.<\/p>\n<p>Not to be confused with the powder blue surgeonfish &#8211; a species often mistaken for \u2018Dory\u2019 and commonly found on our reefs \u2013 blue tangs can grow up to 30cm and they usually live in pairs or small groups.
